You can apply for a property by filling out our online tenancy registration form or contacting us directly. We will guide you through the application process, which includes providing identification, proof of income, and references.

Rent typically covers the cost of the property and basic maintenance. Utilities, council tax, and other bills are usually not included unless specified in the tenancy agreement.

You can report maintenance issues through our online form, by email, or by calling our office. We aim to respond to all requests promptly and will arrange for necessary repairs as soon as possible.

Any alterations or decorations must be approved by us in writing before you proceed. Unauthorised changes may result in charges to restore the property to its original condition.

If you wish to end your tenancy, please provide written notice as specified in your tenancy agreement, usually one or two months before your desired move-out date. We will then guide you through the checkout process.

At Habitatly, instead of requiring a traditional deposit, we collect the first month’s rent and an additional month’s rent upfront. This additional amount acts as a buffer. Tenants are not required to pay a separate deposit. If you provide sufficient notice as outlined in your contract, you can forgo paying rent for the last month of your tenancy, utilising the additional rent paid at the start of your lease.

Pet policies vary by property. Please check your tenancy agreement or contact us to see if pets are allowed. If permitted, additional terms may apply.

If you’re having difficulty paying your rent, contact us immediately. We can discuss possible solutions, such as a payment plan, to help you manage your payments.

We conduct routine inspections every six months to ensure the property is in good condition. We will notify you in advance to arrange a convenient time.

Tenancy renewals are typically possible, subject to agreement by both parties. If you wish to renew, please let us know in advance of your lease end date.

Garden maintenance responsibilities will be outlined in your tenancy agreement. Typically, tenants are responsible for basic upkeep, while landlords handle more significant maintenance tasks.
